Tony Kovacs has been involved in Video Production as an editor and cameraman since the late 1990's, first at the University of Auckland - College of Education, shooting, scripting and editing educational videos used for training and development. Then I worked for over 2 years as the senior editor (and some-time cameraman) on Speedweek and Speedmachine for Sky TV and Prime TV.

Since then I’ve been freelance working primarily for Projected Images making Corporate training videos, In-house Promos & TVC's, and for Video by Courtenay, Directing, Shooting, Editing Corporates and Wedding Videos. My main role was Director / Editor but I was often involved with the script editing, voice-over supervision, Post Production co-ordination, basically a Producers role!
 
  Prior to 2003, I Produced and often Directed and Edited Short films, a couple of which did quite well on the International Film Festival circuit, administered by the NZ Film Commission. Most notably a 35mm short film called “Trust Me” directed by Virginia Pitts, which I Produced for James Wallace Productions.
